Shipping Policy
A1 Office Furniture understands the importance of the smooth running of every project, from conception to completion. Our in-house team will ensure that you are supported consistently and have access to straightforward communication channels.
General rules of delivery
It is your responsibility to check that the delivery is correct before signing.
Deliveries are made Monday–Friday, from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, excluding bank holidays.
Delays are sometimes inevitable due to unforeseen circumstances. A1 Office Furniture will not be liable for any delay in the delivery of the goods.
All deliveries are doorstep deliveries. If you would like the office furniture delivered into your offices, please call us for a quote on 0800 652 5700.
Hand Delivery (formerly Standard Delivery)
All Hand Delivery orders are subject to a £49.00 handling and delivery fee*.
The estimated shipping time for Hand Delivery orders is 3–5 working days.
* Excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands
Delivery:
All Delivery orders are subject to a £35.00 handling and delivery fee*.
This service is available in mainland UK, excluding the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Your order will be dispatched on pallets and delivered only to the ground floor or your front door. This delivery type is not suitable for properties without ground-floor access. For more information, please call the sales team, who will be more than happy to help.
Free Delivery Rules:
Your delivery address must be within England or Wales. Please contact us for deliveries to Scotland, the Highlands and Islands.
Free delivery is available on all orders over £300. Installation is not included in the delivery charge.
Free ground-floor doorstep delivery is available to mainland UK. Deliveries to Scotland, the Highlands and Islands will be charged; please call for a quote before ordering.

The installation of your furniture is the focal point of your new working environment.
Our service is designed to offer our clients, old and new, complete peace of mind, especially those projects which need to be completed within critical time limits. We frequently operate within a working office environment with minimal disruption to the client.
Our installation teams are trained to the very highest standards and receive regular ongoing training. They are equipped with the latest resources and are fully aware of health and safety guidelines.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide a professional service, which allows us to maintain excellent relationships with our clients and uphold our reputation for offering the highest-quality products and service, combined with value for money.
Restocking charges:
Once you have received the goods, if you wish to return any or all of them, they must be unopened and in their original packaging. A 40% restocking charge will apply. Depending on your location, a collection charge may also apply; please call to confirm this. We cannot accept items returned more than 14 days after the order date.
We do not store customers’ credit card details, nor do we share customer details with any third parties.
